The official page checked October 3 lists 2MVISITS, explains the weather interval, and gives a skill-book transfer instruction. Its API update timestamp was October 3; a timestamp alone is not a complete patch note.

What this check does not establish
The API reports a game update, but it does not identify every balance adjustment or newly added item. The source set has no complete official changelog for the current build. Test-server island costs and rod quests remain attributed historical observations, not silently promoted to October 3 patch facts.
How this changes the older skill advice
The earlier creator narration suggests broad book attachment across rods. The current official FAQ specifically requires unattaching from the old rod before attaching to a new one. This site follows that newer direct instruction for transfers and asks players to read the removal confirmation before proceeding.
